Bone fragments

Unexpected bone pieces in processed meat or poultry products.

FoodSafety.gov describes foodborne illness as disease from eating contaminated food, which can include physical contaminants.

Hard bone fragments in products sold as boneless or finely processed can pose a choking or injury risk.

If you find unexpected bone in food, stop eating it and keep the package if safe to do so.
